Purpose of Role
We are looking for a Visual Merchandiser to support the product presentation of our Managed Spaces.
This role will support the “Go to Market” process, ensure a premium execution at retail and deliver the highest return on investment. Partner with the merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to deliver the vision of the “End in Mind” and ensure the Brand stories are coming to life in an impactful manner.
The role will also support Store Design and Development on the store opening process.
Your Impact
- Support VM process across Managed Spaces from early concept to “Retail Theatre”.
- Work closely with the Merchandising, Marketing and Commerce teams to deliver the best product assortment that fits the perfect vision of the “end in mind” (Business right, Brand right).
- Support the development of EMEA Seasonal Directives. Support the development of content to build regional seasonal directives.
- Support, in country, seasonal kick off.
- Support in season standards and KPI’s are at the highest level. Maintain the relationship with country teams.
- Be the voice of VM in the space design and refits process: Collaborate with store designers and project managers on the design, zoning of any new space or refit. Ensure the consumer journey works in terms of capacity, storytelling and flow. Balance “Brand” and “Commercial” moments.
- Support the space opening: collaborate with country VM’s while they prepare plan-o-grams and store opening plans. Support the training of the store team to ensure standards will be met when the set-up team will have left the space.
- Support monthly reviews of KPI’s and photo reporting per spaces and ensure UA functions are set to follow up on actions.
Qualifications
- 6 years of relevant field Visual Merchandising / Styling in a Premium Fashion Brand/ International Brand / Sport Brand experience without degree.
- Fluent in English. Can comfortably navigate across cultures and in a complex matrix.
- Presentation skills (Power point, Keynote).
- The candidate must demonstrate a high capacity to adapt to changes, dealing with ambiguity, be an extraordinary team player, be a sponge when comes to trends or industry evolution.
Workplace Location
- Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Amsterdam office.
- Return to Work Designation: Hybrid work, a minimum of 2 days in the office
- Travel: ~15% of the year
