Technical Project Manager

Job Summary:

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of mobile app development projects. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that mobile apps are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve project planning, execution, and monitoring, with a focus on balancing technical requirements with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

• Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and milestones.
• Manage project schedules, track progress, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Define and document project requirements, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Technical Oversight:

• Work with engineering teams to review technical designs and ensure they meet the project’s requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the development process.
• Stay informed about mobile app development trends and best practices to ensure the team utilizes the latest technologies and methodologies.

Cross-Functional Team Coordination:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and QA engineers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between team members, resolve conflicts, and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Gather and prioritize requirements, provide regular updates on project status, and manage expectations.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks and issues related to project scope, schedule, or resources.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure that risks are managed effectively throughout the project.

Quality Assurance:

• Oversee the development and execution of testing plans to ensure the mobile app meets quality and performance standards.
• Review and validate the final product before release to ensure it aligns with project requirements and user expectations.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Track project performance metrics and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Analyze project outcomes, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Qualifications Strong understanding of mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong technical background.
• Effective leadership and team management skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software, such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Experience with mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile app analytics and performance monitoring tools.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
• Experience: 10- 12 years of total experience & minimum of 5 years as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on mobile application development
