Technical Project Manager:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for Java-based solutions in the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain, ensuring alignment with healthcare industry regulations and standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between technical teams and healthcare stakeholders, including pharmacy providers, insurers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project requirements are understood, communicated effectively, and delivered in accordance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks specific to PBM projects, such as regulatory compliance, data security, and interoperability challenges, while proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Team Coordination & Leadership: Coordinate activities across technical and functional teams, providing leadership and guidance to ensure alignment with PBM domain requirements, healthcare standards, and project objectives.
  • Domain Expertise: Possess deep understanding and expertise in PBM processes, including medication management, formulary management, claims processing, and pharmacy network management, to effectively translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines, as well as industry standards like NCPDP, in all project activities to mitigate compliance risks and ensure data security and privacy.
  • Interoperability & Integration: Oversee the integration of PBM systems with external healthcare systems, and pharmacy management systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance PBM processes, systems, and technologies through innovation, automation, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
