Simulation Engineer – Mobility Group

Your role is vital for development of new technology concepts for powertrain of the future where the focus is on reduction of CO2 improvement of the efficiency while keeping the performance high. The results that you produce will drive the direction of development process and speed up the project progress.

You will become a member of our team focusing on development of technologies that will be in commercial vehicles in 5 to 10 years from now. The projects that we are working focus on decarbonization of transportation and improvement our environment while keeping performance high.

  • System model development and validation (e.g. fuel cell system, combustion engine etc.).
  • Evaluation of the results and conclusion.
  • Optimization.
  • Cooperation with other team members on new technology concepts.
  • Conduct project reviews and make presentations.
  • Position requires up to 10% travel domestic and international.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering, or related, from an accredited university.

Skills:

  • Experience with combustion engines and/or fuel cell systems.
  • Experience with developing models in GT-Suite or other object modelling software.
  • Strong knowledge of GT-Suite or other object modeling software.
  • Strong knowledge of 0D/1D flow modeling.
  • Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink.
  • Knowledge of fuel cell systems and combustion engines is advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical prinicples.
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Consistently ethical, open, honest, trustworthy, and truthful.
  • Desire for new product development and innovation … to make what matters work!
