In particular but not limited to:
- Perform technical investigations on the performance of base station antenna products and new developments in the network
- Contribute to the development of network simulation tools for system analysis
- Drive and participate in studies regarding requirements and system solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new challenges and opportunities for antenna developments
- Support product managers, R&D, business, and market units regarding product documentation, development, technical customer requirements, and further requests
The skills you bring:
- A Master’s or above in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or equivalent
- Advanced MATLAB knowledge, experience in antenna simulations software like HFSS, CST
- Good understanding of channel modelling, cellular networks and MIMO systems
- Good understanding of 3GPP and cellular networks
- Strong understanding of RF- and antenna principles, understanding of base station antenna architectures
- Work experience across interdisciplinary teams
- Teamwork mentality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Scientific expertise or work experience in research projects is an advantage
- Effective written and spoken communications skill in English. German language knowledge is an advantage
