Main responsibilities:
- Building a new aerospace fuel pump test cell. Working on technical specification for fuel pump test cells (hydraulic installation, electrical installation, control system, data acquisition, hydraulic circuits, heating system, cooling system, motor drives, loads, etc.). Safety requirements (test cells, control rooms, tanks, ventilation, ATEX, etc.).
- Communication with local authorities. Bill of material definition, creating purchase requests, preparation of public tenders, communication with suppliers.
- Responsible for newly built aerospace fuel pump test cell and testing (development, qualification, certification tests) for airliner aircrafts (Boeing, Airbus). Endurance testing with SAF (sustainable aviation fuel).
- Test configurations and troubleshooting. Support control system and data acquisition configurations, analyse experimental data.
- Preparation Czech and EU grant proposals for R&D projects (R&D of new fuel products and systems).
- Participate in new product and technology development projects.
We would like you to bring:
- Master´s degree in mechanical/electrical/aerospace engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in hydraulics or fuel systems testing.
- Experience in hydraulics or fuel systems development, modelling and design within aerospace, automotive or industrial field.
- Knowledge of hydraulic circuit design and its thermal management.
- Knowledge of data acquisition systems and control systems for hydraulic or fuel systems.
- Basic knowledge of controls and data acquisition systems (e.g. NI LabView, Dewesoft).
- Basic skills in mathematical modelling of hydraulics (Amesim, Matlab/Simulink, FlowMaster).
- Basic skills in 3-D modeling and mechanical design using common CAD tools (e.g. Creo or SolidWorks).
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering processes.
