Key responsibilities
- Define electronics hardware development milestones based on input from program management, system leaders, electronics hardware and mechanical competencies;
- Define hardware release scope considering requirements, change requests and feasibility in regards of timing;
- Collaborate with system and software development leaders to ensure synchronization of the HW/SYS and SW development V-cycles;
- Define expectation dates for electronics HW deliverables from hardware architects, hardware design engineers and mechanical engineers;
- Track progress of electronics hardware deliverables and test;
- Communicate and track expectations from the HW team to other teams;
- Evaluate and communicate delays and risks to product development;
- Represent electronics hardware development timing internally and in front of the customer;
- Work with the prototype line and series production factory to ensure on-time prototype and documentation delivery;
- Monitor, track and communicate project resource needs.
What we’re looking for
- Masters degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or an associated field;
- 5+ years experience in automotive electronics hardware development;
- 2+ years of experience in leading a project team;
- Active listener, strong communicator and strong leadership skills;
- Good foundation knowledge in hardware embedded systems and mechanical constraints;
- Proficient in communicating with customer and engineering leadership;
- Fluency in English is required.
