Responsibilities
The scope of work is to provide AIT support to the customer’s AIT team for the AIT Avionic Test preparation and Avionic test execution for AIT Functional test operation.
AIT Avionic Test preparation:
- Preparation of electrical integration procedures;
- Preparation of “No stress in AIT for HW equipment”/“DASY sheet” documents;
- Preparation of harness validation procedures;
- Preparation of setup & desetup procedures for functional tests (AVM, ambient, TVAC, …);
- Update of AVM procedures for SVM & S/C;
- Participation to AIT workflow definition;
- Test aid definition and manufacturing follow-up.
Avionic test execution for AIT Functional test operation:
- Support Avionic Coordinator for first execution of procedures (EGSE, Test-aids, PFM operations);
- Support Avionic Coordinator for PFM operations;
- Perform recurring EGSE validation, connection & disconnection execution;
- Perform recurring validation of Test-aids;
- Perform recurring execution of electrical procedures;
- Perform recurring execution of functional tests (with the support of Avionic Engineering team up to their validation);
- Provide tests results in Airbus digital tools format (A training period is to be planned to get used to the customers’ digital tools).
These are full time positions, located at our customer site in Toulouse (France).
Start date of the project is foreseen in February/March 2025.

How to succeed in this position?
We are searching for experienced Assembly Integration and Test (AIT) Engineers with experience in the functional testing with a minimum 3 years’ experience in the space industry.
- Applicants shall have preferably a University degree in the domain of Telecommunications, Electronics, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering or other suitable equivalent qualification;
- Mandatory skills:
- Good programming skills;
- Knowledge of the verification approach, and of the S/C technical domains under test;
- For EGSE support: good knowledge in electronics and SW domains – ideally EGS-CC;
- For database support: good knowledge of database tools;
- Knowledge of the EGSE and bench architecture, network infrastructures, verification approach;
- Experience in satellite AIT activities is needed;
- Good knowledge in UNIX/Linux/Windows usage and Jira tool;
- Knowledge of ECSS and CDM or other TM/TC definition data bases would be an asset.
Languages: English fluent. French highly desirable.
The candidates have to be willing to undertake some few business travel during test phases.
Candidates have to undergo a basic security screening during the application process (e.g. formal statement of good conduct, issued by an official government entity; reference persons) and security clearance to enter customer premises.
Permanent contract (CDI) based on French labor law conditions.
