Your tasks

• You carry out scientific analyses to advance the development of a modern electrolyzer
• You model and optimize the electronics of a PEM electrolysis using simulation tools
• You plan and design process plants with a focus on power electronics
• You develop and maintain simulation libraries
• You validate, analyze and evaluate existing simulation results and derive optimization potentials based on efficiency, performance, service life and price
• You work closely with other departments and teams

your profile

• You have completed a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, engineering, physics (focus on electrical engineering, mechatronics), or a similar field
• You already have experience with modelling electromechanical systems and power electronics
• You have good knowledge in the field of control engineering
• You have knowledge of simulation platforms such as SIMULINK or Siemens SIMIT with interfaces to PLC control
• You have good programming skills in MATLAB, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT with ST (Structured Text) or C/C#
• You have a great interest in trends and developments in the field of Industry 4.0
• You have a good understanding and analytical and model-critical thinking
• You want to make a significant contribution to the energy transition
• You have good written and spoken English skills
• You are a team player
