Your Tasks
- Planning and performing MRI testing activities (internally at MED-EL headquarters and externally at MRI sites and test houses) according to specified standards and beyond;
- Improving existing and developing new MRI safety testing methods;
- Providing MRI safety related design input for implant development;
- Generation of MRI safety documentation for internal use and for submission to notified bodies.
Your Profile
- Bachelor´s degree or higher degree (University, FH) in physics, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field;
- Experience in laboratory work related to MRI safety testing according to ISO/TS 10974 (e.g., Radio frequency power deposition and transfer function measurements of implantable medical devices);
- Ability to work in an MRI environment;
- Highly motivated team player with a self-directed and goal-oriented work style;
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English, basic German is a plus.
