Project Director UpHy Large

Your tasks

• Deliver the UpHy Large project within the given time schedule and with the approved budget and ensure quality management during the DEFINE and the EXECUTE phase;
• Manage senior project managers, oversee subprojects, and maintain overall project accountability while delegating subproject deliverables;
• Ensure compliance with discipline standards and specifications, coordinate with discipline engineers, and maintain quality in assigned projects through QA/QC management;
• Actively manage project risks, develop mitigation measures, and implement them with project owner approval for effective risk management;
• Run a best-in-class stakeholder management by maintaining transparency in sharing project KPIs, risks, and mitigation measures;
• Manage procurement of all necessary contracts for project engineering and execution, coordinate engineering and construction management, as well as project services during the project phases including professional resource planning;
• Actively manage HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment), promote an HSSE culture, participate in HSSE programs, report, and emphasize Safety in Design within your area of responsibility.

Your profile

• University degree (master/diploma) in Project Management, Business Administration, or relevant technical degree;
• At least 15 years of relevant work experience;
• Proven track record in project execution, project management processes, project stage gate process, and international project benchmarking;
• Highly experienced in leading and managing significant investment projects in the process industry while adhering to project standards governance;
• Assertiveness and implementations strength combined the diplomacy needed;
• Strategic thinking;
• Fluent in English with advantage of speaking German and Romanian.
