As a Power Plant Simulation Specialist (f/m/d), you play a vital role in bringing value to our customers in optimizing their plants. You are part of a highly motivated team of experts in process and project execution. You are responsible for the improvement, optimization and extension of the simulation process models for gas and steam power plants. Willing to drive the energy transition and creating a more sustainable future, you are extending the simulator portfolio on the renewables business fields. Working closely with the project execution and bid experts you will understand their needs and be able to guide them in providing the optimal solution to the customer, and product management will rely on your support for creating sound product roadmaps and marketing.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Improving, optimizing, and extending the existing process models of fossil power plants as well as creating new ones for the systems promoting the energy transition
- Support the project execution in finding concepts/solutions to improve the cost basis while ensuring a high customer satisfaction cost effective at the same time
- By providing product documentation and definition of roadmaps of the Omnivise T3000 Simulator supporting the product management, project execution, and bid management for future project
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in Process Engineering or equivalent professional expertise with extensive know-how in power plant processes, particularly combined cycle power plants
- Structured programming skills with low complexity and visual programming knowledge (especially Omnivise T3000)
- Experience with agile working methods and creativity in developing customer- and cost-effective solutions
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent English language skills in both spoken and written form; German language skills are a plus
- Self-driven as well as intrinsically motivated to take ownership of work
