The People Operations Team is the go-to resource for HR systems, processes and support. We are responsible for the entire employee lifecycle management, from onboarding to offboarding, making sure we provide the best support possible in collaboration with our People Business Partners dealing with discipline, grievances, policy implementation and general advice. With 4 main locations in Berlin, Langenfeld, London and Boston, and smaller entities across the globe, we manage a diverse mix of topics, including relocation, visa processes, HR legal compliance and process globalisation. Now we’re looking for a People Operations Specialist (all genders) to join our team in Berlin.
What You’ll Do
- Independently oversee daily HR operations connected with employee lifecycle management, from onboarding to offboarding
- Maintain the HR information system (BambooHR) to ensure employee records are current and accurate
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions and requests, providing guidance and support on HR legal regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices
- Contribute to internal documentation to ensure clarity on processes and knowledge transfer
- Develop and maintain guides and manuals for HR procedures
- Support and collaborate with other teams in the People & Places Department when People Operations input is needed (data analytics, reports, etc.)
- Occasionally take part in cross-functional projects aiming to improve communication flow and information clarity
What You’ll Need
- Knowledge of German labour law, to confidently support and advise employees and managers
- Fluency in English and German, to independently manage communication across the company and HR documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from various locations, as well as passion and patience for human-to-human interaction
- Experience working with HRIS, ideally BambooHR
- Understanding of and experience working with HR data analytics and reporting
- High degree of attention to detail and confidentiality
- Proactive approach, strong organisation skills, and knowledge on successful collaboration techniques
