Outerwear Apparel Designer

Right now we are looking for an Outerwear Apparel Designer to join our expanding team.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of delivery gear development processes, from initial design concepts to prototyping. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of product quality standards. Activewear, Workwear, and Outerwear background is an advantage.

What you will do

End-to-End Tech Pack Development: Ensuring precise and comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, creating professional tech packs that are supporting the manufacturing process.
Prototype and Pre-Production Sample Management: Being responsible for sample management and implementing a proactive follow-up system to guarantee the timely delivery of high-quality Prototype and Pre-Production samples.
Quality Assessment and Analysis: Planning and executing product testing, assessing quality reports. Analyzing, documenting, and categorizing product prototypes and raw material samples.
Supplier Communication: Establishing and maintaining daily communication with manufacturing suppliers.
Market Research and User Feedback: Tracking industry trends, and understanding consumer preferences through comprehensive market research and user feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively participating in cross-functional team meetings, offering valuable insights from the product development department.
Product Innovation and Design: Contribute to the development of innovative product solutions. Supporting bag, sportswear, outerwear, and accessory design processes.

Skills & Requirements

Experience in product development/design with a focus on textile/apparel
Business-level English knowledge
Availability to work on-site in Budapest, Hungary
Studies in fashion design, textile engineering, garment technology, or similar fields
Proficiency in Google Sheets or MS Excel
Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Detail-oriented personality with a commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and to take initiative
A result-oriented and practical approach
