A recruiter specialized in the search and selection of professionals and managers in the Fashion, Luxury and Lifestyle sectors, is looking for an important fashion brand:

Merchandising Manager Omnichannel

The resource sought will have to contribute to creating the collection structure by managing the models allocated by category and price range and finally the sales catalogue (with product telling);

Main Responsibilities and Activities:

Deep knowledge of the market:

The candidate will have to have a deep knowledge of the sector in order to direct sales towards a correct differentiation of the offer.

Strategic vision :

The Merchandiser will have the task of planning the collection so that a consistent offer of proposed products corresponds to the real and effective needs of the sales force and the market, balancing saleability and creativity and defining the right relationship between new products and carry-over.

Managerial and coordination skills:

The Merchandiser will have to support the CEO, the creative direction and the general management in all aspects of the collection project, from the creative phase to the sale, coordinating with the Style Office, Marketing Direction and direct and indirect Distribution.

Collaborate with CEO and production to define price lists and verify margins;

Manage the purchasing season budgets in collaboration with Retail manager and e-commerce manager

Analytical ability:

Know how to analyze and interpret sales data, both sell-in and sell-out, to choose what to propose again and what to include in the collection. The Merchandiser must have excellent numerical and evaluation skills in order to design a project based on the indications he obtains from the market.

He/she will also have to propose to the creative direction any cancellations of article codes based on the progress of the sales campaign.

Creativity and product sensitivity:

The candidate will have to send the Style Office the useful directives for the development of the new collection: which models from the previous year’s season to propose again, how to best interpret the trends, which items to modify and which to eliminate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • At least 4/5 years of experience in the role.
  • Strong creative thinking and project management skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team
  • Fluency in English

Work mood – Full-time, Part-time, Internship.
