Job description
You will be assigned as Mechanical Assembly, Integration & Test (MAIT) Engineer to support a major ESA Space Science mission.
Responsibilities
The scope of work is to provide AIT support in PFM Assembly procedures preparation to the mechanical integration of various equipment units of the PFM.
The activity will be decomposed in the following sub tasks:
- Opened platform Equipment unit integration procedures;
- Side panels Platform Equipment unit integration Procedures;
- Payload Equipment unit integration Procedures;
- Side panels Handling procedures;
- Solar Array Integration procedures;
- External units Equipment procedures;
- Propulsion module integration procedures.
The assembly procedures shall be prepared in French.
The position is a full-time position and the various activities (AVM and PFM AIT) will take place at our customer site in Toulouse (France).
Start date of the project is foreseen in 2026.

How to succeed in this position?
We are searching for an experienced Mechanical Assembly Integration and Test (MAIT) Engineer with industrial experience in functional validation with a minimum 3 years experience in the space industry.
- Applicants shall have preferably a University degree in the domain of mechanical engineering, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering or other suitable equivalent qualification;
- Mandatory skills:
- Experience in integrating electrical equipment on a spacecraft;
- Knowledge of the verification approach, and of the spacecraft technical domains under test;
- Knowledge of test procedures;
- Knowledge of test definition for the harness.
Languages: French and English fluent. German would be an asset as well.
The candidates have to be willing to undertake business travel between customer sites.
Candidates have to undergo a basic security screening during the application process (e.g. formal statement of good conduct, issued by an official government entity; reference persons) and security clearance to enter customer premises.
The employment terms is based on French labor law conditions.
