Junior Market Research Analyst

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

The Junior Market Research Analyst role is part of our Consumer & Market Insights team, responsible for conducting (post-campaign) advertising perception studies of our Brand Marketing activities for 12+ countries. This team, as part of our Traffic, Pricing & Strategy unit, aims to understand our customers’ needs and wants and to enable our internal stakeholders to see the world through consumers’ eyes to make game-changing decisions. Consumer & Market Insights operates in close collaboration with analytics, marketing, product & engineering colleagues across the company to deliver relevant consumer based business insights in a complex, fast-paced environment.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Maintaining and developing the survey design for post-campaign advertising perception studies for 12+ markets
  • Functioning as the point of contact for the external agency that administers the surveys to their consumer panel: managing timelines, overseeing the survey setup, QA-ing test survey versions and final survey results, and answering questions throughout the process
  • Conducting data cleaning and formatting of the raw survey results to prepare for data processing
  • Delivering and presenting insights derived from descriptive analysis on the survey data to the Marketing Analytics and Brand Marketing teams
  • Functioning as a sparring partner for the Brand Marketing (Design, Marketing & Content) teams on Brand campaign research topics, with regards to addressing questions on methodology and data interpretation
  • Supporting other (quantitative, ad-hoc) market research projects ensuring an on time and high quality delivery

 

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You’re proud of your degree (Bachelor, Master, MBA) in Marketing/Market Research, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Statistics, Psychology or a related data-driven equivalent.
  • You have 1+ years of relevant work experience in a data-driven role.
  • You can gather, clean up, and transform data from various sources to enable convenient insights creation.
  • You are comfortable with using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
  • You have first experiences with coding for data processing and analysis in R (or Python). Bonus points if you’ve been exposed to BI dashboard solutions such as Microstrategy.
  • When you see a problem or analytical question, you latch on and cannot let go until it is solved, always questioning the validity of the results.
  • You have great communication skills that enable you to drive projects across the organization and you enjoy answering questions from a variety of different people.
  • You are self-driven, results-oriented, enjoy working independently, and taking on responsibility. Your project management skills enable you to plan and prioritize your work effectively.
  • Your oral and written English is business fluent.
