The Tasks:
- Design the functionality of the flight control system.
- Review and approve the requirements for the system.
- Write the code that makes it all work.
- Integrate your code with other systems on the aircraft.
- Generate the final code for use on the aircraft.
- Continuously integrate and test your code.
- Track progress and report to key stakeholders.
- Qualify the final flight control software for use.
Who You Are:
- You’re a Master’s student or graduate in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- You have hands-on experience with flight control systems.
- You’re an expert in control theory, flight control concepts, and the flight dynamics of electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicles (eVTOLs).
- You’re an expert in MATLAB/Simulink and C programming.
- Use Polarion and GIT for version control (bonus)
Important Note:
This position requires a security clearance (Ü2-Sabotageschutz) with approval based on specific residency requirements.
