Job Title: Data Architect

Experience: 12 to 20 Years
Location: Hybrid

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of an end-to-end data solution including data architecture, data integration, data modeling, security, privacy, performance, data governance etc. based on overall business needs.
• Assist in identification and recommendation of appropriate data solutions, upgrades, replacement, decommissioning options incorporating technology productivity, usability and total cost of ownership.
• Lead data migration projects and implement strategies for transitioning to new data platforms or technologies.
• Collaborate with product and business leaders throughout the company to ensure that technology initiatives align with business needs.
• Mentor a team of data architects and data engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field.
• 12 – 20 years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
• Expertise in data architecture concepts such as data modeling, data integration, ETL/ELT, data warehousing and data lake.
• In-depth knowledge of data modeling techniques, including relational, dimensional, graph and NoSQL data modeling.
• Advanced understanding and working knowledge of data quality frameworks, metadata management and data catalogs, data security and data governance.
• Experience working with various cloud solutions
• AWS Data Engineering expert (AWS Event Bridge, AWS Step Functions, IAM, AWS Secret      Manager, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, AWS DMS etc..)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and modern data stack.
• Expert in Performance Tuning of SQL (Postgres & MySQL)
• Expertise in BI, Data Governance & Quality
• Delivery Management & Team Management experience is essential
• Ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
