ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are searching for a Human Resources Manager to strategically support and lead the country HR activities for Italy. We have a multi-national approach to our EMEA HR team and you will join a dedicated team of HR professionals across the region to collaborate on regional projects.
ROLE DETAILS:
Reporting to Greif’s Regional HR Director, we are looking for someone who will be present at our factories in Bottanuco, Castenedolo, and Melzo to ensure collaborative relationships and be the primary point of contact for colleagues and managers.
This is an exciting role for an experienced HR professional to drive Greif’s global, regional and Italian HR policies and associated frameworks, as part of the EMEA HR team.
TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Coach and support managers, in line with current employment and related legislation, to achieve their business objectives and organisational design requirements.

Maintain all local HR policies, procedures and employee documentation as part of legislative changes.

Undertake recruitment and selection, Talent Management, L&D, and performance management, in association with regional and global frameworks.

Ensure accuracy and compliance in Workday HRIS processes and data.

Prepare, and be the contact person, for audits (SOX, external audits).

Provide supervision of labour law issues and associated proceedings.

Identify opportunities for improvement of Italian HR items and be a change manager for local, regional and global processes.
REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally educated to Masters level.

Be present on our sites 3/4 days per week.

Able to demonstrate significant HR experience in managing second level contracts, union management and Italian labour law.

Able to demonstrate working for a multi-national and matrix organization, within a manufacturing environment.

Able to demonstrate agility in adapting to business changes.

Must be fluent in Italian and English.
