Consultant life-cycle coordinator

– Own, maintain and improve existing automated reports & data queries used for daily operational and major governance activates that have external labour related actions in scope

– Manage the business processes and transactions which surround the daily operations of one of the largest banking Technology and Operations organizations

– Be responsible for contingent resource management transactions, working with senior business management stakeholders, enterprise partners (Sourcing, Security, HR, etc.), and various business processes including vendor management, resource onboarding & associated life-cycle management activities (renewals, ongoing changes, advisory, etc.)

– Effectively coordinate with management to ensure transactions are in line with policies & processes

– Liaise with the Business Management organization to assist with ad hoc queries, reporting, and communication

– Ensure data integrity is maintained in different systems of record by addressing data exceptions

– Be an integral part of the team, helping to respond efficiently and effectively to client requirements

– You will be covering approximately 2000 consultants via dozens of suppliers (external workforce) and your daily job will be to actively manage this population, provide controlling and advisory services to the business on how to effectively achieve their workforce strategy goals

You have:

– Fluent in English

– 2 years of experience in multinational or large corporate environment

– Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis packages such as VBA and/or Power BI, Power Query (Basic knowledge is also considerable.)

– Excellent written & verbal communication skills: ability to clearly and concisely communicate with internal and external partners cross-divisionally

– Superior relationship management skill to build and maintain solid engagement with key internal and external stakeholders

– Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability work without supervision with attention to details

– Flexibility towards changes / Healthy disrespects towards status quo / ability to identify and execute process improvement opportunities

– Good problem-solving skills & ability to translate processes to real life actions

You might also have: (nice to have skills)

– Experience as a Business Analyst, Workforce manager, Business manager, project management, procurement

– Basic or intermediate proficiency of any query language

Team profile:

The Technology & Operations COO organization’s primary responsibility is to provide overall operations management services to Morgan Stanley Technology & Operations division. It manages multiyear workforce strategy execution, responsible for budgeting and financial control, supervises product and service portfolios as well as spearheading large, firm-wide transformations. The Technology & Operations Resource Management (TORM) team is part of the Technology Business Management function within the COO organization. It provides control and advisory services to support the life-cycle management and governance of over 22,000 external consultants across various geographies and IT and Operations departments. The team initiate, execute and actively monitors workforce related transactions and vendor management activities in conjunction with vertical and horizontal stakeholders (Sourcing/Procurement, Department heads, managers, HR, etc.). The team conducts comprehensive governance activities & reviews, maintains data hygiene of primary systems, driving cross divisional process improvements, standardizing the management of the consultant worker population.
