CMC Project Manager (m/f/d)
What duties does this role involve?
The development group at our team is organized in an across-site organization. The role of CMC Project Manager reports to the Director CMC – Pharmaceutical Development and deals with projects in the development of pharmaceutical products at all our sites.
- Project management of customer projects for liquid, semi-solid, solid and ophthalmic dosage forms in early- or late-stage development, technology screening, clinical supply or commercial readiness.
- Management of project teams, meetings, timelines, milestones, risks and issues, financial outlook and invoicing
- Support with document elaboration required for QbD based product development (such as QTPPs, risk assessments, development reports)
- Coordination of customer communication and representation of our project management and development team
- Elaboration of concepts and strategies for formulation and process development
- Scientific advice for drug product development of liquid, semi-solid and solid dosage forms
- Technical support of business development in the context of new customer acquisition
- Evaluation and feasibility assessment of project inquiries
- Elaboration of development offers
- Participation and support of global project management initiatives
- Representation of our Development services on conferences and trade fairs

What are we looking for in applicants?
- University degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent, if possible, with Ph.D.
- Several years of work experience in pharmaceutical development and project management
- Profound experience in formulation development, scale up and process development of liquid, semi-solid and solid dosage forms
- Experience in early phase development desirable
- Strong communication skills, hands-on mentality with a high level of self-motivation, capable to work under minimal supervision
- Customer centric problem solving mindset
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel (>30%)
