Carbon Reduction Engineer

Key Accountabilities

  • assist clients in the development and implementation of projects related to quantification and reduction of GHG emissions and climate change mitigation;
  • support the execution of energy assessments, carbon footprints/life cycle analyses, literature reviews on energy transition topics;
  • follow up evolving regulatory requirements relating to GHG emissions and energy transition;
  • provide technical advice to ad-hoc queries from clients and internal staff as needed;
  • work in International, EU and R&D projects;
  • meeting with clients, needs analysis and collaboration/coordination with technical teams;
  • drafting and preparation of technical proposals.

Qualifications

  • at least 2 years of experience in technical activities related to GHG emissions, energy transition or climate change mitigation;
  • passion and interest in learning and giving contribution in the energy transition field;
  • ability to write well-structured and well-reasoned reports, proposals and documents will be considered a plus;
  • very good level of English, both spoken and written;
  • knowledge of additional languages will be considered a plus;
  • availability for short business trips within and outside EU.

Education

  • Master Degree in Engineering, preferably Energy Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
