A business-to-business (B2B) trade media outlet serving the mining and mineral processing industries is looking for a representative based in Europe to sell print and digital advertising products. Most of the company’s current European sales originate from Germany, Finland, Sweden and Denmark.
The ideal candidate would have experience with B2B ad sales in a niche market, such as heavy equipment, industrial processing, etc. Famililiarity with marketing strategies and the ability to work independently is a must. The sales rep would manage 200 prospective accounts, of which 25% currently purchase advertising. The rep would enter and maintain client data and create proposals using the publsher’s CRM.
The pay is straight commission (15%-20%) based on experience. The rep is expected to travel and call on customers and attend trade shows.
