What you will do
- You will be working in the CMIN (Compute and Memory Technology Integration) team, contributing to either the R&D programs or to bilateral (Research on Demand) projects.
- You will be responsible for coordination and implementation of process flows on wafers in imec’s advanced 300mm FAB.
- You will define and discuss process splits with the process integration engineers, process step development engineers, implement the splits into the process flow, and take care of the cycle time follow up during processing in the imec pilot line.
- You will monitor the quality of metrology requests from teams within the department.
- You will execute the inspections (inline SEM, ellipsometry, optical microscope inspections) in the cleanroom.
- You will have to understand impact of process variables on device performance by evaluating in-line and electrical data and guide the development work with these interactions in mind.
- You will take responsibility over measurement techniques/tools and provides training to researchers/engineers when needed.
- You will support logistical requests from teams within the department.
- You will be setting up and monitoring inline SPC for projects in the department.
- You will report your results internally to process integration engineers, program managers, program director and within multi-functional meetings, and externally to customers.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining stable baseline flows.
- You will communicate and interact with the other groups within the department, as well as customers.
- You will work in shift regime, including 1 out of 2 weekends (Sat/Sun). Working in shifts/weekends will be compensated accordingly (both monetary and recuperation days).
Who you are
- You have a master’s degree in science or engineering (Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Material Science, or related areas).
- You like looking at data, drawing conclusions and propose relevant follow up actions.
- You have strong organizational skills and show the flexibility to change between different projects according to changing priorities.
- You actively look for solutions to problems and are driven by delivering results on time.
- You take initiative, you are persuasive and firm, while keeping a constructive attitude.
- You are a good communicator: you listen actively; you build bridges where needed and you communicate clearly and effectively.
- Experience in semiconductor process, device development, or process integration is an asset.
- You are a team player: you enjoy learning from your colleagues and sharing knowledge. You take up your responsibilities in the team and actively contribute to achieving common goals.
Given the international character of imec, a fluent knowledge of English is necessary.
