Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with compliance, legal, technologies and data teams to provide E2E oversight of new intakes and confirm generated reports meet regulatory standards.
- Coordinate internal teams regarding the production and submission of the reports. Identify and mitigate project roadblocks, ensuring project timelines and objectives are achieved.
- Lead regular meetings to update stakeholders on project progress, while highlighting opportunities and championing change initiatives to reduce risk and enhance controls.
- Conduct thorough reviews of reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Employ problem-solving skills to address unexpected tasks and minimize disruption to project schedules.
- Continuously shows curiosity and critical thinking to propose new and better solutions to enhance the department’s efficiency, improve reporting processes, methodologies, and document regulatory reporting requirements.
- Work alongside the team to oversee successful delivery of the Spanish Legal Entity regulatory reporting obligations inventory.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 – 4 years experience as a consultant. Financial Crime knowledge would be a plus.
- Prior experience developing, executing, and managing reporting processes and insights. Ability to identify technical solutions to achieve process automation and reports. Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Excellent project management, organizational and process/workflow skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and rigor, able to source and interpret data in a meaningful way to support decision making. Excellent attention to detail and ability to connect the dots. Experience in analytical tools such as SQL will be valuable.
- A strong understanding of Anti-Money Laundering regulations and practices is preferred
- Demonstrates a collaborative approach to solving problems and strengthen stakeholder relationships and enjoys participating in frequent meetings and thrives in daily interactions with numerous departments.
- Outstanding communication skills, able to craft messages that clearly and succinctly communicate key points to various audiences in the organization. Must be fluent in English and Spanish. Additional European languages will be a bonus.
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change.
