- Lead product and material development for highly regulated products within the Global AFC R&E organization. This person will work closely with their Design Control R&E team, but also with other Scientists and Engineers across Global Personal Care R&E.
- Support the development and implementation of Product and Material Specifications, Leverage Rapid Learning Cycles, execute Knowledge Transfer and Technical Readiness for Class II initiatives.
- Lead small to medium product and material efforts on Compliance, Business Continuity, Innovation, and Supply Chain Improvement projects with a focus on leading design control and risk management activities.
- Coordinate with legal, regulatory, quality, marketing, product supply, safety, etc., to fulfill all requirements associated with Class II medical device product development.
- Manage product and material development timelines, scope and discretionary spending against agreed to targets.
- Support programs as needed with travel, up to ~10%, including international travel to locations such as Nogales- Mexico, and Litovel- Czech Republic.

Basic Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Scientific discipline from an accredited College or University.
- 3+ years of experience in research or engineering, product and material development, overall 5+ years industry experience in consumer products and/or related fields.
- Proven track record of ability to resolve complex problems for development initiatives.
- The ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative cross functional structure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in class I and II medical device development.
- Strong knowledge in the consumer goods product and/or material development cycles.
- Product and material Knowledge of Tampons, Pessaries, Pads and Liners.
- Experience with ETQ or related systems.
- Experience and thought leadership in Quality Management Systems, Design Control, Design Verification/Validation and Risk Management.
- A demonstrated ability to work with global stakeholders.
