Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation:
- Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, etc.).
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS).
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
- Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Use network tools to identify and rectify issues proactively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Ensure the network is compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Web Server Configuration and Maintenance:
- Configure and maintain web servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Manage Internet Information Services (IIS) configurations to support web applications and services.
- Mail & Domain Management:
- Manage email systems and ensure their availability and security.
- Handle domain management tasks including domain registrations, DNS configurations, and SSL certificate management.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Provide reports on network performance, security incidents, and compliance issues.
