Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG), a global leader in peristaltic pump manufacturing and fluid path technologies, is seeking a Finance and Office Assistant to join our new operational company in Budapest. With nearly 60 years of engineering expertise and over one million pumps installed worldwide, WMFTG is committed to delivering reliable and innovative solutions.

This role will support our growing team, handling daily book-keeping, customer issues, customs administration, and participating in month-end closing processes. This role will focus on:

Daily Duties:

  • Download bank statements, upload to SharePoint, and book into AX.
  • Save incoming invoices on SharePoint, upload to BPiON SharePoint, and book into AX.
  • Set up new customers based on credit checks conducted by the Financial Controller (FC).
  • Manage vendor setup/modification in coordination with the FC.
  • Handle DEMO stock (book-keeping, transfers, inventory, movements) and manual stock movements.
  • Manage outgoing invoicing for replacements: issue from AX, upload and download from
  • SharePoint, send to customers, and register in GP table.
  • Reship orders to RO and BG from the Eky-Light warehouse in case of replacements.

Weekly Duties:

  • Record 3rd party vendor bank transfers in the online bank system.
  • Monitor overdue customer invoices and participate in debt handling.

Monthly Duties:

  • Collect and check employee expense reports, post into AX, and upload to BPiON SharePoint.
  • Record ICO vendor bank transfers.
  • Prepare the monthly bank reconciliation document and send it to the FC.
  • Prepare the monthly HC report and send it to the Finance Partner.
  • Perform AR/AP settlements in AX.
  • Adjust Duty VAT in AX.
  • Support ICO reconciliation and VAT reconciliation for the FC.
  • Calculate general accruals.
  • Prepare quarterly CBAM, EPR, and EPF reports.

Other Administration Duties:

  • Manage marketing materials.
  • Handle office management tasks (office supplies, landlord contact, etc.).
  • Perform posting duties.
  • Assist with travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Provide backup for ISS colleague in customs clearance management with a 3rd party vendor.
  • Upload sustainability data into the reporting system.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in English for business communication; native fluency in Hungarian.
  • College or university degree or equivalent experience.
  • High integrity, self-motivation, and reliability.
  • Open, friendly, and respectful communication style.
  • Strong ERP skills, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
