About the role

As a Senior Java Developer/Tech Lead, you will be working in a small team with applications within the area of Digital Customer Platforms. We are growing and have plans to become a large development team.

Main activities and responsibilities

• Develop and Maintain Back-end Systems.
• Utilize Java for real-time data processing, communication, and control in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Create User-Friendly Front-end Interfaces.
• Design responsive and interactive interfaces using Vue.js.
• Provide Technical Guidance.
• Offer expertise in hardware and software architecture, performance optimization, and end-to-end troubleshooting for both on-premises and cloud solutions.
• Collaborate Across Teams.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize the entire application stack.
• Ensure Performance and Reliability.
• Guarantee the performance, reliability, and scalability of software solutions.
• Identify and Resolve Technical Issues.
• Promptly identify and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support as needed.
• Stay Updated with Industry Trends.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in industrial equipment monitoring.

What you need to be successful

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Some experience with embedded devices in wireless and wired networks, experience building/upgrading PCs, and experience configuring wireless and wired networks. You also need:

• Proficiency in Java for back-end development.
• Strong skills in Vue.js for front-end development.
• Experience in designing and building real-time applications or systems.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker).
• Experience in GitLab.
• Good familiarity with Windows and Linux.
